We chose this set for our 1-year-old son because we wanted something that encouraged climbing and crawling, rather than just going straight up and over. This design was perfect — he climbs the stairs, crawls across, and then slides down with the biggest smile on his face! It’s just the right height: challenging enough to keep him engaged, but not too high to be unsafe. We placed a soft play mat under the slide for extra cushioning, just in case. Assembly was pretty straightforward. It took one person a couple of hours, which is reasonable for a larger item like this. Overall, we’re really happy with it and, most importantly, so is our son!
